Known as Rebbe Hershele Lisker (רבי הערשעלע ליסקער) or Zvi Hirsh Friedmann (צבי הירש פרידמאן), this distinguished author of Ach Pri Tevu'ah (אך פרי תבואה) ranks among the great Hasidic leaders, with teachings that continue to inspire his disciples. The Rebbe studied under the famous Teitelbaum Moshe zt"l (משה טייטלבוים זצ״ל), also referred to as the Yismach Moshe (ישמח משה), from whom he learned valuable Torah knowledge and Hasidic wisdom. The enduring disciple relationship is vibrant in Hasidic communities, notably among Satmar adherents, who pay tribute to the memories of Teitelbaum and Rebbe Hershele Lisker.
